The oldest Mercyhurst University graduate program, the Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration (CJA) program was created in 1978 under the assumption that criminal justice is a true profession dedicated to serving society and preserving the basic rights and freedoms of all people. The M.S. in CJA provides both current and prospective practitioners with the administrative and management preparation to further their careers and to move into leadership positions within criminal justice and social service organizations.

Applied Intelligence Master’s Degree

This degree provides students with the educational foundation necessary to succeed as intelligence analysts in federal national security agencies, private defense contractors, law enforcement agencies, businesses and non-government organizations. This graduate program is comparable to master’s in security studies programs at other universities.
